Aberystwyth Storm Hotel Gets a New Hat

The Belle Vue Hotel on Marine Terrace in Aberystwyth has seen plenty of action over the years. As a seaside hotel with views over beautiful Cardigan Bay, it has long been popular with tourists and has borne the brunt of many a Welsh storm. The infamous storms of winter 2013-2014 saw video footage of Marine Terrace broadcast nationwide as huge waves flooded the streets. As the storms subsided, volunteers gathered together for the seafront clean-up operation, congregating outside the Belle Vue Hotel for this great community effort - so if ever a hotel deserved to stay dry, this one did!
