It's official - the Met Office has now confirmed the winter of 2013-2014 has been the wettest since records began. Flooding and high winds brought chaos and misery to all, with thousands of UK homes damaged not just by rising water and high winds but also by falling masonry and roof tiles. Tragically these have also caused loss of life. If, as we are being told, storms are going to become more intense and more frequent, has the time come to replace the roof tile industry with roofs that actually stay locked onto the roof surface? What do you think? Should we be demanding investment in roofing alternatives?
