SEPTEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Total Garage Rebuild for under 10K

With day-to-day living costs biting hard, the last thing anyone needs is their roof to go! Everyone knows roofs cost a fortune - so how can you save money on necessary repairs and even total rebuilds?

Many people are considering DIY options - that's fine, we've got plenty of Shop Products to help you - but this is only recommended if you're confident you know what you're doing. Roofs have their reputation for cost because they're big, often complex jobs.

This was one such job - this large garage roof was so neglected and rotted at the time of purchase that it required a total rebuild - including new joists and insulation (to government U-values), installation of an effective substrate, as well as the polymer roof itself. The pictures show the different stages of the rebuild clearly. The right polymer roofing products (which we use) are both durable and highly cost-efficient.

Incredibly, all of this came in at less than £10K.

How do we do it?

Broadly speaking, we can do it because polymer roofing itself enables faster installation with greater flexibility and because we know the products, the materials and the techniques inside out. We've worked with other roofing systems in the past (for decades!) but swapped to this BECAUSE it gives a better roof at a better price!
