This client was selling his apartment, but the purchaser's presale surveyor had picked up that the tired atrium and leaking flat roof below the promenade slabs were reaching the end of their life span, jeopardising the sale.

We removed the slabs that were already there, allowing the substrate (the material beneath the slabs) to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared.

We then applied a two coat system to the substrate, giving the roof a jointless, seamless finish that would ensure it was weatherproof, waterproof and fireproof for years to come.

After re-paving and decking the area (and sorting out the old atrium), the entire area was transformed.

Work was completed within 28 days (inside the 1 month period specified by the purchasers before they would pull out of the sale). A full 15 year Latent Defect Warranty was given - transferable to the purchasers. And the whole roof garden, roof parapet, walls, and atrium only came to £12,000 plus VAT (including the Latent Defects Warranty).
