This balcony in Putney SW15 was looking worn and tired and the owners were keen for a complete refurbishment.

Our first step was to remove the existing balcony tiles before cleaning and overboarding the space. As the roof area covered an internal room below, roof coating was then applied to seal it.

Following this, new railing posts supplied by the customer's chosen supplier/manufacturer were then fitted by us and fixed into their recommended positions. The entire area was waterproofed, sealing the railing position still further and preventing water ingress at their base.

Finally, we applied balcony quartz coating in mid grey to give a hard wearing, fully waterproof and weatherproof finish.

With the posts now in position, the railing manufacturers were then able to re- measure the railings before final manufacture and installation.
