The NHS Foundation Hospital at Chorley in Preston, Lancashire, was in need of a high performance, durable cold roof for one of its many smaller roofing areas. 

We installed a 20 Year Sika Liquid Plastics Decotane Ultra roof, which has excellent specifications and also comes with an optional maintenance package.

These two roofs in Winskill, near Penrith in Cumbria CA10, required a high degree of careful tapering to create an insulated polymer gradient that will channel rainwater away from the central skylight and away from the adjoining wall. This will protect the integrity of both the skylight and the roof substrate, ensuring water will not pool or sit.

This flat roof on Spear Street in Manchester needed a warm roof installation (click to find out more about warm roofs, cold roofs and flat roofs, or use the nav link above). To ensure good heat efficency, the government set strict U-Values for many types of roof, with lower numbers being better. Using hte polymer system, we were able to achieve a fantastic 0.15 U-Value on this roof.

What Now?

This roofing project, undertaken on an asbestos cement profile roof in Middleton in Northeast Manchester, really shows what a difference a good roof can make!

The two-coat liquid membrane roofing system was applied quickly and without fuss or mess to give a complete 10-year system with far superior performance to the previous roof. As you can see, it also looks great!
