This insulated terrace roof in the small village of Carno in Powys SY17 required warm roof insulation, noggings/noggins fitted for balustrade railings, and a tapered gradient for drainage. It also enjoys a fully waterproof and weatherproof 20 year guaranteed polymer system.

These three dormer windows in Borth, near Aberystwyth in Ceredigion SY24, were in need of (cold roof) upgrade with correct ventilation including over-fascia ventilation. The work required a 50mm air gap with 4m maximum air travel.

This roof in Llandinam (SY17) was an unusual project in terms of shape and design - constituting a wide strip of roofing surrounding a central opening for an extra large skylight lantern aperture over a sun room. The roofing area also needed to be meticulously tapered to the guttering to provide thorough drainage from the central area to avoid puddling, which could damage the roof structure and impair safety. We used two outlets draining to a standard downpipe via a special flat roof outlet.

This Spar shop in Bala in Gwynedd in North Wales needed an economical reinstatement for the roof for a new commercial lease, which we were able to provide using the polymer system. For roofing contractors, we get some unusual projects! And this one, ensuring a watertight environment in preparation for a concrete pour inside a food manufacturers in Carmarthenshire in South West Wales, shows how versatile the polymer system truly is. 

This small roof extension near Aberystwyth SY23 was no problem for the polymer system despite its small size and some detailing such as the upstanding ventilation pipe in the photograph - the photo demonstrates just how "perfect forming" the polymer system is as well as the level, jointless and seamless finish even at small scale.

This roof in Tal-Y-Bont in Ceredigion (between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth) shows what can happen when previous roofers have not fitted a roof to proper standards in accordance with Building Regulations - in this case, serious condensation problems.

The GRP fibreglass on this adjoined flat roof near Aberystwyth in West Wales was looking tired and patchy, and would have needed replacing entirely before long had the owners not decided upon a preemptive refurb.

This balcony terrace area in the village of Waunfawr, a little to the north-east of Aberystwyth, was in need of refurbishment. Balconies tend to degrade faster than many other areas of roof owing not only to the fact they get walked on more often but also because they are flat, which can result in pooling of water and damp. Because of this, a good surface is crucial - ideally something not only weatherproof and waterproof but fireproof, anti-skid, and not prone to cracking (as water ingress can cause havoc).

This school in Borth, on the wet and windy west coast of Wales, needed a roof refurbishment for one of its portacabins.
