Flat Roofs

Flat Roofing is our speciality. From garage roofs to green roofs, from school cabins to hospitals, to a sedum-planted Embassy roof, the National Library of Wales Plant Room, hotel complexes and a rooftop mini-golf course. Our pioneering liquid polymer system is hassle-free, affordable, durable and high performance. We use self-levelling roofing compounds where required, can taper insulation and drainage and line for planting if desired. What's more, we can usually fix or refurbish a flat roof IN ONE DAY, even between weather fronts, and can get to pretty much any roof in the UK - fast.

The new roof - all fully refurbished within 3 days

The GRP flat roof on this rural Welsh Primary School, on the Powys-Ceredigion border, had severely cracked after the long dry summer due to its age, leaving it in dire need of refurbishment or replacement.

Although the school address was Machynlleth, which is in Powys, the school is technically in Ceredigion therefore it was Ceredigion County Council's responsibility to secure fast repair. Having used us for several school roofing…

The roof was cleaned and prepared

A recently purchased house in Bow Street Ceredigion, near Aberystwyth, was in immediate need of re-roofing, but after purchase costs the owners were left with a limited budget for works, both on the roof and elsewhere around the house. Because of this, a highly cost effective method was required.

The existing roof consisted of flat mineral felt which, as picture 1 shows, had been replaced in so many sections over the years that it had…

Despite the sunshine, this was a problem roof

The Marine Hotel on Aberystwyth's seafront in West Wales, sported various features making it difficult, if not impossible, for most roofers to access without damage. The problem area was a flat roof with air conditioning units on it beneath a fire escape walkway. We were able to strip, refurbish and fully waterproof the ENTIRE area (even WITH the AC units in just 4 days with no damage and no need to call out mechanical engineers to disconnect…

The last picture shows the pitch alteration making all the rain…

The wooden mop rolls had already been cut

This dormer roof in Upton, Northampton NN5 presented some interesting problems.

The new build lead work had been installed with the aim of directing rainwater back from the dormer roof to drain off the sides, a method that relieves the need for a high level front gutter. However, that design seemed to be have been changed halfway through the installation - so that somehow the rear gutter was installed flat without the stepped rear…

Creating the new 15 yr liquid membrane roof

Ceredigion County Council case study:

This portacabin roof at Ceredigion County Council houses the canteen drying room. Its paper backed single ply roof covering had perished and was in serious need of refurbishment.
The first step was for us to strip the roof back and remove the ply paper backing, before the liquid polymer roof system could be installed.
The roof was then overlaid with a 15 year BBA approved high flexible…
