This balcony roof area above Tesco Express in Chingford, Essex (Waltham Forest, London) serves six flats which are also leased to Waltham Forest Council in East London's Chingford E4.

The balcony area was run down and in need of refurbishment and complete reroofing. The existing mineral felt flat roof decking was saturated and the walkway decking needed replacing.

Copper roofing theft had caused considerable damage to the roof of the Oliver Bird Hall in Solihull, a community hall in a conservation area near Birmingham in the West Midlands.

The Local Council granted planning permission for the rear elevation roof to be coated in liquid membrane. Unusually, the decision was then made to remove the entire roof, allowing work to progress easily and without the need for scaffolding.

The tiled balcony walkways at this hotel in Pitlochry, Scotland, were leaking badly. Despite good workmanship, there was a lack of suitable materials beneath the tiles themselves, resulting in real problems for the hotel owners.

We were contacted by Ark Housing Association in Aberdeen, a charitable company specialising in providing for the housing needs of people with Autistic spectrum disorders and learning difficulties.
