Metal Portable Unit Roof Improvements North Devon

This metal mobile portable telecoms unit in North Devon required improvements to the roof.

The gutters, which were small, kept blocking. As this causes a range of serious problems, the gutters were removed. New drip trim and deep flow alloy gutters were fitted, creating a roof that will now channel water properly.

Following this, the entire roof was then encapsulated in poly roof Protec fiberglass, completing the roof.

Bin Storage Unit in Cheltenham

The owners of this new bin storage area in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire were looking for a long-lasting, aesthetically pleasing solution to keep outdoor bins dry and well-protected from the weather.

As the photographs show, the polymer system is just as versatile and effective for smaller projects as for larger ones. We were able to construct a cleanly-draining roof area, tapered to inbuilt guttering so the water never pools - meaning no weight-related roof collapse, no gathering moss, no algae or mould, no water ingress or leaks and no large areas of ice in the winter.

Large New Build Polymer Roof in Cheltenham GL50

The owners of this large new build on Parabola Road in central Cheltenham had very specific requirements, needing a warm roof over a truly huge, flat area.

We're highly experienced in installing warm roofs and flat roofs over more or less any size space, as many of our commercial projects, in particular, show.

Hereford Substation Polymer Roof

This new electricity substation in Hereford, built to improve power supply to the city's homes, was being built from scratch and needed a good, high-spec, fully weatherproof and long-lasting roof from the outset.

We used a guaranteed 20 year protection system, installation as shown in the pictures above.

The polymer system we used - Protec - is also ideal for reinstating existing power substations with zero fall, since Protec is zero fall certified to exceed the designed lifespan.

Falmouth overlay system for new composite decking on terrace roof

This seafront property in the Cornish town of Falmouth (TR11) required an overlay system for the installation of new composite decking along the entire terrace length. With its location, one of the key specifications for any installation is a very high degree of waterproofing and weather resistance / weatherproofing, which meant the polymer system was ideal.

Gloucestershire Mobile Portable Cabin Office Block Gets Polymer Treatment

This portable cabin style warehouse office block on a small industrial estate at Berkeley Heath between Bristol and Gloucester (GL13 9EU) needed its roof refurbished.

As usual, we began by meticulously going over the existing roof, clearing debris, pressure-cleaning, making repairs, and so on. Only then do we apply base coat, fully sealing the area. We then applied a high-spec, jointless, seamless top coat that makes water ingress impossible and which is fully fireproof, weatherproof, UV proof, waterproof and more.

20 Year Polymer Quartz Balcony in Bude, Cornwall

This unusual seven-sided balcony terrace area in Bude in North Cornwall was leaking and in need in refurbishment.

Bude Cold Roof to Warm Roof Conversion

This building in Bude in North Cornwall needed its roof converted from Cold Roof to Warm Roof. This was however a trickier than usual job as the existing roof needed to remain entirely in situ and there was a very large area requiring insulation.

The photos above show the state the roof was in prior to work commencing, with the last 4 pictures showing the completed installation.

Liquid Roof in Stow-on-the-Wold, Cotswolds, Gloucestershire

We were contacted by another roofing contractor about this semi-detached roof in Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire. At one end, the fibreglass roof was leaking and at the adjacent gable end, the felt roof was leaking.

The two sections, 18m2 and 25m2 needed slightly different treatment. The 25m2 area already held mineral capsheet but was pooling water on top of that, which was seeping through the cracked material. This roof area simply needed overlaying with Liquid Plastic, rendering it jointless, seamless, watertight and weatherproof.
